Soccer-There are many things going on at Akins High School.There are many games going on after school for basketball,soccer,track and baseball.On january 10,2009 Akins Boys J.V.B soccer team won the Bastrop JB tournament.Also the boys Varsity soccer team won the Hays Rebel Cup Tournament.
Visit at akins-On Feb.19,2009 a delegation of South Korean educators toured Akins and got to visit with students and staff.There are all kind of things going on but the most important thing going on is TAKS retest on next week.
Taks Testing-On tuesday March 3-Friday March 6 there well be TAKS for Reading,Math,Science and exit ss retest.Teachers are getting the students prepared for the test so they can do very well on it. http://www.austinisd.org/schools/website.phtml?id=006
