RULES OF THIRDS:this piscture on the left shows us a view of how the city looks like after the attack.if you cut this picture in thirds you well always get a good view.so this image is a good one for the rules of thirds.

SIMPLICITY:This picture shows a picture of the Boston red sox standing alon the foul lines at Fenway Park in boston as a priest reads a prayer.it gives the picture a good view of the cross in the middle. Eventough the baseball players are leading to the cross they dont take the view away from the cross in the middle.

LINES

LINES:In this picture the lines of the flag and the gray ladder go from the top and lead it to the eye of the man.The lines in this picture of the flag go diagnal and make it have a feeling that is a dynamic feel to it.

BALANCE

This flag is being held by two man on esch sides and there holding it real balance.They look like if they can balance it till for ever you can even cut a line in the flag straight down.

FRAMING

This picture is a good framing picture.THis is a man sitting down surrounded by lots of boxes.IT makes him look like one of the boxes since hes just sitting there doing nothing sitting still.So he makes the picture have a frame by the boxes.

AVOIDING MERGERS

I choose this picture bacause the people in the picture are all running and they have the same legs going the same way. ANd it shows a good view of them because none of them are being cut off and it show the right shot.

NEWS AROUND AKINS

Akins high school has many news going around the school like final exams before christmas break, survey on Campus Construction,prom 2009, garage sale, colleage and career center, e.t.c.. The news that is going around the school is well FINAL EXAMS next week! Everyone is talking about this all this week.Students are getting prepared for it. Even the teachers! They are making the test they are doing reviewing all this week and giving the students papers to review all this week and during the weekend.Final exams are test for the students to show how much they learned this year and the grade you get on it well become the semester grade for that class. "im really nervouse about the exams i dont know if im pass them but im try my best on them" said 9th grader Mariana Rodriguez.
Theres also being a Survey for campus construction.This is a conducting community survey concerning the 2004 bond projects at akins it will take approximately 8-10 minutes. If you decide to participate you will help us aseess the success of th renovation projects in the survey."Garage Sale" yes akins is having a garage slae the akins best buddy program is sponsoring a garage sale from 6am to 1pm on saturday the 13th right outside the theatre.
ATTENTION ALL SENIORS if your gonna attend the prom this year you have to be passing 6 out of 8 classes, maintain 90% attendance in your classes,will not be place on an Alternative campus for any reason,you need to clear your book obbligations and not have more than two suspensions in second semester.Remember you will need your ID and inappropriate behavior or you will be escorted. Colleage and Career Center please be sure to complete most of your college applications this month because January well be the busyest month, since this will be that time you will have to complete application.

this is about a boy name chris wright who was off road biking on may 29. He was road biking on ground soon to be new middle school.HE really liked going there biking with his friends.

This is about a boy name Curl Arnette he looks for a player to break Taylors press.His last game of season was against Taylor, Friday, on febuary 13.He played real hard in his game more than he has ever played.He was relieved that the season was over and hes glad he dont have to worl out two hours a day.

This caption is about the student council president Jill Cavness that give blood.She gave blood on tuesday oct.13 at 6:30 a.m. in a small gym.She gave blood for the flood victims after the flash flooding that occured on late september.

What is happening? She had a bomb
What did happen? she killed herself and 20 other people and later tree more people were killed.
What are the consequences? they kill peoples lifes
What is different about this? that first she killed people and then she kills her self so she wont face the consequenses.
What are the choices? nun because she died so they cant put her in jail.

He began to understand the construction of animals, planets, trees, birds,and other stuff when he was 73. He said some interesting things like"At 90, I will enter into the secret of things," he said.And also "At 110, every dot will live."

GETTING IT RIGHT_PART 1:This is about helping you to practice and how much more you can do with it and how to do it.So its just telling you and helping out on it.Reading aloud helps test to see if your sentences are too long or if your story makes sense and doesn't confuse people. Also avoid sentences with long dependent clauses, instead try using the subject-verb-object construction in most of your sentences.And it well help you better on it.

GETTING IT RIGHT -PART 2:
This is about how important it is to plan ahead and it also shows the value of organization and how to determine a factor of a good article.Write simple sentences and make sure your subject is close to the verb.All writers must always conform to the basic conventions of grammar, spelling and punctuation.


LIBEL:This shows you how easy you can commit this crime, even if its on accident theres no excuse. As well as the easy ways to prevent it from happening.Libel usually results from carelessness, exaggerated writing, statements of officials made outside privileged situations, inadequate verification or failure.

When writing you follow a pattern or some steps.These steps are steps that all successful writers follow, are gather(finding details), focus(main idea), order(place important facts in a logical order), draft(quick write), and revise(edit your draft to make it more powerful).These are the steps you need for a writting process.These are the same basic steps upon which this Web site is built (prewriting, writing and rewriting).


Getting Organized:
First you have to figure out the main points that will support your theme. Second decided how to tell the story. Third place the main points in a logical sequence.Fourth take a moment and plan the story from beginning to end. Fifth put the feq main topics impose order on the details you often fave when reporting ends. so its basically telling you how to do your article.

Story Structure:You have several options when it comes to the structure of your story.You can choose a chronical order were you put the events in the order they happend.But you can also use the news form which are the:the inverted pyramids, the narrative or the hourglass.But the mose popular structure for news stories is the inverted pyramid.

The news lead-Part 1:
A good news for the story or a play is based on one main idea.thats why its so important to decide to either focus on it or not.A well-focused article tells your reader that you worked from a plan.it also gives the reader a sense of completeness which is a sense that you know what you are doing.

The news lead-Part 2:These are the last 4 main leads for a story. There is a second type or lead that is used mostly on feature stories.It usually sets the scene or the mood of the story.The delay lead can be short like about two sentences or up to four paragraphs.It is important to include the theme statement somewhere high in the story usually in the first two paragraphs.Leads have to be honest.

The rest of the story:
The rest of the story is the middle and end.Number 1 the real strenght of your story will come for the detalis that back up the promise of the lead.Which its the background.In the middle of the story you will build a strenght of interest in a number of ways.The end of the story is the most important.

The tools of the trade:News writing is concrete and specific. News writing is front-loaded or top-heavy. The news writer makes meaning early with sentences that begin with subjects and verbs. It is tough and muscular and free of clutter, The good writer avoids this clutter with a meanness of attitude.

Barack Obama Wins Presidential Election

It's been about two years since the most historical presidential election's between Barack Obama and John Mccain.But yesterday November 4,2008 Obama won the election and is now the 44th President of the United States.Woo hoo as well as me i am happy that Obama won because i think hes a good president for America.People all over the world are either happy or mad that Obama won but we got a new president!Obama is gonna make alot of changes but we never know how those well affect us.But i think that Obama well make are future a good future.
